Another trip along the Mohaka River to Te Puia Hut, this time with friend Lexi. This is a great overnight hike for anyone who wants to give it a go, with a well marked track and nice warm hut with gas and solar lighting.
There are no bookings at this hut, first come first served, so it's great to carry a tent just in case. We set up camp at the hut and then wandered along to the springs for a hot swim before tea!
